Squirrels are active year-round and can enter gaps as small as a golf ball. Like raccoons, they prefer attics, walls, and crawl spaces for nesting. Their teeth never stop growing β so they chew constantly to keep them filed, which means your home's structure, insulation, and wiring are always at risk.
Damage They Cause
Squirrels chew electrical wiring (a leading cause of attic fires), destroy insulation, and leave droppings throughout their nesting area. They can also chew through wood, plastic plumbing pipes, and more.
Health Concerns
Squirrel droppings and urine can carry Salmonella and Leptospirosis. Nesting materials can also harbour parasites like fleas and ticks that spread to pets and people.
Repair & Prevention
Our service includes repairing chewed wiring (when safe to do so), replacing damaged insulation, cleaning and deodorizing nesting areas, and installing permanent prevention hardware.
Removal Methods
One-Way Exclusion Door
We install a one-way door at the main entry point, allowing squirrels to exit but not return. All secondary entry points are sealed simultaneously.
Full Perimeter Seal
After eviction, we conduct a full perimeter inspection and seal every gap, crack, and potential entry point with galvanized steel mesh β material they cannot chew through.
