Skunk Behaviour
Skunks are nocturnal burrowers that den under sheds, porches, decks, and concrete slabs. They rarely spray unless threatened, but their proximity to your home makes encounters with pets almost inevitable.

Rabies Risk
Skunks are one of the primary carriers of rabies in Ontario. A skunk active during daylight hours, appearing disoriented or aggressive, should be treated as a rabies risk. Do not approach β call us immediately.
Burrow Sealing & Prevention
Once the skunk has been removed, we fill and seal all burrow entrances, install underground mesh barriers around deck and shed perimeters, and treat the area to discourage new skunks from establishing dens.
Removal Methods
Humane Eviction
We install a one-way exclusion device at the den entrance. The skunk can leave to forage but cannot return. We monitor the site and seal the entrance once we confirm the animal has vacated.
Odour Neutralization
We apply professional-grade enzymatic neutralizers β not masking agents β directly to the spray area. These break down the odour compounds at a molecular level for permanent elimination.
